Children’s eyewear brand Zoobug has signed a distribution agreement with AccessUrEyez Eyewear for the U.S. and Kiss Eyewear in Canada for their children’s optical and sunglass collections, effective immediately.

“This new distribution agreement is an exciting step for Zoobug,” said Dr. Julie Diem Le, founder of the Zoobug brand. “We have had lots of opticians contacting us direct from both markets over the last year, but we have not been able to provide the service we wanted from a distance. Now we are able to offer our complete collection to all U.S. and Canadian opticians through two highly regarded distributors. We are delighted to be working with AccessUrEyez Eyewear and Kiss Eyewear, both of whom are dynamic and passionate companies, committed to providing excellent customer service.”

According to Zoobug, the Spring Valley, N.Y.-based AccessUrEyez Eyewear “specializes in targeting individuals who have an ‘eye for eye-catching design’,” while Kiss Eyewear with offices in New York and Montreal, Canada “prides itself on targeting both adults and children who are ready for an individualistic look,” making them both perfect partners for the line.

Since its launch in 2006, Zoobug has become known as a leading specialist for sunglasses and optical frames for children. Zoobug frames are currently distributed in over 20 countries and the company has a fast developing new distribution through duty-free travel retail outlets worldwide.

Inspired by Lucky Brand Spectacles’ adult line, the seven-frame kids’ launch collection reflects the same vintage-inspired pedigree, with a little Lucky Kid playfulness thrown in!

Seven ophthalmic kids’ frames make up the new collection—four girls’ and three boys’ styles. Bold yet practical, these durable handmade frames flash back to the 1970s, as models are named after the offspring of influential musicians, from Ringo Starr to Mick Jagger.
