Desert sunsets are reflected in the Mellow Yellow acetate and in the gentle graduated hues of paprika red, cinnamon brown and deep blue. Sun-kissed whites and Gold rolled onto tortoiseshell warm the senses while the gentle colours fig, honey and cumin whet the appetite.<br />

The temples of this duo feature an intricate carved effect adorned by small crystal stones and the CANDIE’S signature logo plaque. Each style is finished in jewel tones, including plum over cream, burgundy over pink and black over berry with berry temples. Both crafted in handmade acetate, model C Abigail features a modified rectangle front, while C Adele features a modified cat-eye front.</p>

Exposed rivets accentuate the temple’s innovative styling, which evokes an industrial-inspired motif. Handmade acetate temple tips in a soft blend of pearlized colors compliment the frame’s structural design. The modified oval shaped flat metal front of style R 162, delivers a modern look to this sleek style. Style R 163 features a semi-rimless flat metal front in a modified rectangle shape.</p>

<p>Youthful in design, this collection offers more than 40 optical and 20 sunwear designs – featuring outstanding color with an attitude. Colors of red and black, purple and pink, black and white and brown and green, just to note a few. The unique frame characteristics include combinations of metals and plastic to create the interest.</p>

Life is changing. As is peoples’ attitude to lots of things. Humphrey’s has changed. For precisely that reason.”</em> that was how Audrey Pavia, VP of Marketing explained the re-launch of Humphrey‘s eyewear. A complete revamp, from brand language through to visual imagery.</p>
<p>The new slogan <em>“positively different“</em> and the ‘V’ sign, the symbol of victory, represent the optimism of the “Humphrey‘s generation”. Young people aren’t fazed by anything. They do their own thing, live their lives and make decisions with complete self-confidence. They don’t need any role models; they themselves are the stars of their own lives.</p>
<p>And that‘s not mere conjecture. These findings are based on an extensive market research study, used to identify Humphrey‘s target group. What are their needs, and what do they willingly go without? The answers can be found in the new campaign and the new models.</p>
<p>Plain and simple, from the cat eye to virtually square or oval and retro. A self-confident geek-chic design utilizing the two-tone trend. Temple designs from python and zebra stripes to striking stripes and checks. And then attractive bright colors as far as the eye can see.</p>
<p>Humphrey’s POP materials include posters and image cubes for both optical and sunwear. The center piece of the collection is a postcard curtain – a curtain created of slots that hold postcards of “Positively Different” images. Each frame is accompanied by an attractive hard case.</p>

<p>Marius Morel 1880 introduces Margaux, an ultra-feminine collection, composed of handcrafted acetate displaying the reworked “cat eye” shape. With a vintage 1950s vibe, Margaux consists of four exclusively feminine models with wide temples. Three models are acetate and one is a combination. Three butterfly “cat eye” shapes and one rectangular version are all adorned with a decorative silver metal insert at the start of the temple.</p>
<p>Margaux is offered in a trendy palette of solid or graduated colors: amber cognac, bluish grey, mauve, raspberry and black.</p>
<p>All models are progressive friendly while providing contemporary shapes. Heat adjustment of endtips is possible.</p>

<p>Consistent with all Lightec models, the Alpha 16 is composed of stainless steel making the frames flexible, tough, and corrosion-resistant. Exclusive patented ALPHA hinge technology allows the frame to be totally free of screws and springs.</p>
<p>Endtips are able to be adjusted with cold alignment. The easy adjustment and opening of the endpiece and pantoscopic tilt creates immediate comfort for the wearer.</p>
<p>Lightec’s Alpha 16 is available in additional sizes: 52, 53 and 54. All models in this collection can be fitted with progressive friendly lenses while maintaining a highly contemporary design.</p>

Enter the <strong>Argyleculture Sweepstakes</strong> for a chance to win a trip to the Hamptons! Two winners will be selected to attend the exclusive <em>13th Annual Art For Life East Hampton Benefit</em> at Russell Simmons’ private East Hampton estate.</p>
<p>Each winner will receive a weekend in the Hamptons, airfare, transportation to and from the event for them and a guest the weekend of July 27th. Last year’s event hosted over 800 guests and raised over $1.7 million to provide New York City youth with arts access, exposure and education.</p>

<p>The soft shape and fluid lines of the lotus flower add visual interest to elegant temples. The base of the flower is produced in openwork to emphasize lightness.</p>
<p>The Lotus concept is offered in a palette of four colors per model. Discreet colors blend harmoniously with lacquer applied to the heart of the flower, for a hint of brightness. Mauves, reds, browns, and blues work to emphasize the femininity of the Lotus collection.</p>
<p>Stainless steel fronts are flexible, tough, and corrosion resistant. Friction-controlled screws prevent opening and swinging of temple while the inside of the endtips are widened for improved comfort.</p>
<p>All models have stainless steel fronts. Lotus is available in three shapes, including a semi rimless model. All versions are progressive friendly.</p>
