The New Koali Frame Shaped Like The Wings of a “Mésange”

The new Koali concept has fun with different eras. While the fronts evoke the 50′s, the temples are shaped like the wings of this delicate little bird, known as “mésange” in French.

The decorative effect on the temples is created by the stylized movement of feathers worked around the metal and continuing to the front. Technically the representation is perfect: the transparent material is overmoulded around the subtly graduated stainless steel decorative element, ensuring stylistic finish and depth.

The color pallet for these models reflect powdered tones, worked in subtle hues of vintage rose, beige, purple mauve, coral red, maroon glacé and grey (6 new colors).

The fronts assert themselves by their retro touch: “cat’s eye” or high “butterfly” shapes in exclusive triple-layered acetate or stainless steel fronts with an openwork endpiece along the temple.

The 1880 Eyewear Collection Reintroduces Marius Morel’s Very First Designs

The 1880 collection reintroduces the elegance of Marius Morel’s very first designs: authentic products subtly updated in terms of volumes and details; reinterpreted using today’s technology.

Felix, the newly released metal concept in the 1880 series recalls the principals of the past using a laser-engraved pattern as its signature design feature. The antique style decorative motif is visible on the frames groove and also discreetly visible on the top and bottom of the brushed-finished contemporary temple.

Metal fronts and nickel-silver temples are finished with hand crafted acetate endtips, completing the frame’s design. The rimlock is hidden inside the temple endpiece, resulting in a product of outstanding refinement.

LIGHTEC Alpha 10 is now available in 6 new rimless models (3 for men and 3 for women).

Alpha 10 features a slim stainless steel temple, over-molded with colored polyurethane rubber (latex-free). The velvety-textured soft rubber encases the temple resulting in an interesting material-color contrast. A technical and dynamic appearance is achieved thorough the clever integration of the frame’s materials.

Consistent with the LIGHTEC range the concept is made from lightweight stainless steel and fitted with an exclusive screwless “alpha” spring hinge.

Alpha 10 has a discreet feel with subtle lines enhanced by contrasts between materials. The curved form and spoon-shaped endtip, were machined from a solid piece of Stamina wood, designed for maximum hold and comfort.
