Viva International Group presents 10 new releases from the SKECHERS Eyewear Spring/Summer 2012 collection consisting of four men’s, four women’s and two boy’s ophthalmic styles. The new styles capture the sporty and vibrant look of the SKECHERS brand, while incorporating many design elements from SKECHERS’ new footwear styles.

Models SK 2041 and SK 2042

Fashion-forward trends consisting of flower pattern accents, metal inlay detailing and unique multi-toned colorations are infused into the new women’s ophthalmic collection. Innovative temple treatments include a swooping colored metal inlay featured on models SK 2041 and SK 2042. Handcrafted in acetate, each temple features a dual layered design available in a variety of trendy color combinations, including black on white crystal, plum horn on purple and brown horn on light blue. Model SK 2041 features an acetate front, while model SK 2042 is designed with a full-rimmed metal front, both offered in modified rectangle shapes.

Models SK 2046 and SK 2068

Inspired by the on-trend design treatments in the SKECHERS footwear collection, models SK 2046 and SK 2068 feature high definition flower prints, which decorate the frame’s handmade acetate temples, along with the SKECHERS logo. Model 2046, fully handcrafted in acetate, is available in rich color combinations, including black on pearl purple horn, brown on light teal and burgundy on burgundy crystal. Model SK 2068 features a semi-rimless metal front in satin black, satin brown and satin purple.

Model SK 3048

The men’s optical collection features a sleek metal inlay with a carbon fiber effect and the SKECHERS logo engraved on the temples of styles SK 3048 and SK 3049. Style SK 3048 is fully handcrafted in acetate and available in a rich blend of colors, including dark brown/white/brown crystal, grey/white/grey crystal and grey/blue horn. Style 3049 incorporates the same innovative temple treatment and features a satin-finished metal front in black, green and gunmetal. Both styles feature a modified rectangular front shape, delivering a contemporary and modern look.

Model SK 3043

The temples of models SK 3042 and SK 3043 are infused with a detailing inspired by SKECHERS’ popular sneaker collections. This sporty style is offered in satin black, satin brown and satin gunmetal. Plastic temple tips are available in two-toned colorations of black, brown and gunmetal on model SK 3042, a full-rimmed metal frame and SK 3043, a semi-rimless metal frame.

The selection of boy’s ophthalmic releases for spring 2012 is filled with sporty elements and fun details. Models SK 1030 and SK 1031 feature a recessed horizontal detail, which fuses sporty style with on-trend fashion. The SKECHERS “SKX” logo design, inspired by the brand’s signature graphics, is etched on each temple in bold colors, including green, blue, red and orange.

Viva International Group Presents The New GANT Eyewear 2012 Spring/Summer Collection

Viva International Group presents the new GANT Eyewear 2012 Spring/Summer collection, which follows the timeless American tradition of GANT. Relaxed summer weekends, including friends and families at play, serve as the backdrop for the Spring/Summer 2012 eyewear collection. The new collection consists of three men’s and three women’s ophthalmic styles, inspired by the All American Preppy lifestyle of today’s GANT man and woman. Two new men’s ophthalmic styles from the GANT Rugger Eyewear collection are also included in this season’s new releases, along with three new styles from the GANT by Michael Bastian Eyewear collection.

G Ken and G Thomas
Subtle temple treatments are showcased in the design of models G Ken and G Thomas, two metal styles from the men’s ophthalmic collection. Raised temple detailing adds depth to the well-tailored look of these two styles. Offered in satin-finished colors of black, brown, gunmetal and olive, model G Ken features a full-rimmed front, while model G Thomas features a semi-rimless front.

Handcrafted in acetate, model G Vincent delivers a look that is young and modern, yet etched with classic appeal. Design elements include a laser engraved logo, which accents each temple, along with flat metal stud detailing. The frame’s deep color palette includes black, navy, olive and tortoise.

The styles from the women’s ophthalmic collection feature subtle design elements, including textured effects and metal accents. The elegant temple design of model GW Emma, a handmade acetate frame, features a laser-etched snake finish, which highlights the frame’s translucent coloration. Model GW Emma is also available in solid black.

A metal trim accent decorates the handmade acetate front of model GW Letey, another key style from the women’s optical collection. The satin-finished metal detailing continues into the design of the frame’s metal temples. Horn variations in blue and purple, as well as solid brown, accentuate the frame’s feminine shape.

GW Casey
Model GW Casey features a semi-rimless metal front and a similar temple treatment. The satin-finished metals are available in blue, brown and purple.

Model GR Baxter, a new release from the GANT Rugger Spring/Sumer 2012 ophthalmic collection for men, reflects the casual styling of this classic Americana brand. This contemporary style features a handmade acetate front accentuated by a metal bridge and metal temples. Rich horn combinations, including blue horn and grey horn, as well as amber tortoise, contrast perfectly with the frame’s satin-finished metal details.

GR Wolfie
Model GR Wolfie is featured in the GANT Rugger Eyewear Spring image campaign and boasts a scholarly look with a modern twist. The thick temples and broad front design of this handcrafted acetate frame highlight the style’s varied color palette of black, crystal and light tortoise.

G MB Brady
The GANT by Michel Bastian Eyewear Spring/Summer 2102 collection features a whimsical blend of fashion and fun. Models G MB Brady and G MB Mike, both handcrafted in acetate, are available in a variety of color combinations, including black over blue, green over navy and black over tortoise. Model G MB Brady features a retro front in a rectangle shape, while model G MB Mike features a rounded front shape with a keyhole bridge accent.

The starting point for the collection was Michael Bastian’s own dream of the ideal Hawaiian vacation.

“Having never been there myself, I quickly realized that most of what I know about Hawaii came from watching the 70s American TV show ‘The Brady Bunch’ as a little kid. On that show, the Brady family very famously took a trip to Hawaii where they had many adventures while exploring the islands. This pop culture reference seemed perfect for the collection – happy, bright, optimistic and thoroughly American.”

G Madeline
Model G Madeline, a unisex style, is comprised of metal in gold and satin gunmetal. A double bridge accents the frame’s tear shaped lenses. Colored cable temple tips complete the look of this hip and trendy style.

Viva International Group Introduces The Mark Nason Spring/Summer 2012 Eyewear Collection

Model: Conrad

Viva International Group introduces the Mark Nason Eyewear Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which features classic rock ‘n’ roll elements and signature embellishments, as seen in the brand’s exclusive couture leather boot designs. Design elements include the Mark Nason “signature” dragon, crosses and detailed roses, which enhance the collection’s edgy style. The new collection consists of 13 ophthalmic styles and 18 sunglass styles for men and women.

The men’s ophthalmic collection, which features nine styles, fuses cool sophistication with a rock ‘n’ roll attitude. Branded treatments, including metal casted tips inscribed with the Mark Nason Cross/Dragon logo and a Mark Nason raised metal logo plaque on the interior portion of each temple, reinforce the collection’s attention to detail. Premium materials are used throughout the collection, including handmade acetates, matte and antique metal finishes and leather trims.

Model: Penn

Models MN Penn and MN Conner, two key ophthalmic styles, deliver retro styling with a modern edge. Model MN Conner features a handmade acetate and metal combination front, which is accented by engraved striped detailing and Mark Nason logo on each metal temple. Model MN Penn features a semi-rimless metal front with a similar temple treatment. Other key elements include metal plaques featuring a cross design combined with the Mark Nason logo, which can be seen on the endpieces and temples of models MN Galen and MN Aldford.

Model: Ransky

Metal endpieces accented by recessed striped details and the Mark Nason “signature” dragon logo are featured on models MN Ransky and MN Tilney. Inspired by Mark Nason’s designer boot collection, each temple is wrapped in textured leather and available in rich colors of black, blue or brown.

The women’s ophthalmic collection consists of four styles, all crafted in handmade acetate with a polished finish. Models MN Dessa and MN Lorna feature a trio of metal crosses on the frame’s temple, inspired by the detailing found on the brand’s leather bags. A deep color palette, which includes laminations in black, camo, tortoise and burgundy, highlight this intricate design pattern.

Model: Dessa

A metal trim enhanced by studs and a rose logo decorate the endpiece and temples of models MN Kari and MN Goldie, adding drama to this bold duo. Tortoise and horn colorations enhance this metal detailing, which also appears on the women’s boot collection.

The new sunglasses from the Mark Nason Spring/Summer 2012 consist of eight men’s, six women’s and five unisex styles, featuring polarized, CR-39 and CRXII lenses. The design elements in this collection feature leather trims, textured metals and iconic logo treatments. Casted dragon/cross logo tips complete the look of this unique collection. The collection features a variety of soft neutral and translucent colorations, which reflect the brand’s current color palette, including shades of grey, olive, tortoise and brown. Fashion-Forward and Innovative Details: New Harley-Davidson Eyewear Fall 2011 Collection

Viva International Group introduces twelve new styles from the Harley-Davidson® Eyewear Fall 2011 collection featuring a mix of fashion-forward and innovative details for men and women.

The new men’s collection evokes the trend-driven quality of Harley-Davidson®, along with the authenticity of the brand’s deep-rooted heritage. A key design element of the men’s optical collection is the creative use of the brand’s iconic logo treatments, including the Harley-Davidson® Bar & Shield logo, featured on styles HD 381, 382 and 383. A transparent temple cover highlights a unique lasered flame design, which runs down the temple’s core, adding a creative element to this esteemed trio. Style HD 381 features a rectangle metal front, style HD 382, a semi-rimless oval shaped front and style HD 383 sports a modified oval front. All three are available in deep tones of gunmetal, satin black and satin brown.

The clean design of styles HD 401, 402 and 403 offers a tailored look, with subtle branding details. The trio’s sleek styling features the Harley-Davidson® name embossed on the metal portion of the metal/plastic combination temples. Styles HD 402 and HD 403 have fronts designed with a deeper lens shape, which accommodates multi-focal prescriptions, while HD 401 features a streamlined semi-rimless front in metal. The six new Wearable Art styles from the Harley-Davidson® Ladies collection are inspired by the tattoo graphics found on the brand’s apparel and accessories. The styles are bold, yet easy to wear fashion statements for the Harley-Davidson® woman.

Styles HD 386, 387, and 388 are available in trendy color combinations, including satin purple/navy on orchid, black on grey bone and satin wine on cream. HD 386 features a semi-rimless flat metal rounded rectangle shape, while the plastic front of HD 387 and flat metal front of HD 388 feature modified oval shapes.

Stone-enhanced floral vine graphics adorn the plastic temples of styles HD 392, 393, and 394, detailed by the Harley-Davidson® Script logo. Style HD 394 features an oval shape in plastic, while HD 392, a semi-rimless, and HD 393 feature soft rectangle front shapes in metal. A rich color palette, including brown over pink, purple over orchid and wine over cream, highlight the craftsmanship of the stone detailing and floral graphics.

Six New Releases From The SKECHERS Kids Eyewear Summer 2011 Collection

Viva International Group presents six new releases from the SKECHERS Eyewear Summer 2011 collection for kids consisting of two ophthalmic styles for boys and four ophthalmic styles for girls. The new releases feature a youthful blend of artistic details and sporty accents, infused with the DNA of the SKECHERS brand.

The four new optical styles for girls are both fun and trendy. A flower and butterfly detail playfully accents a metallic logo banner on the handmade acetate temples of models SK 1502 and 1503. Model 1502 features a metal front in satin finishes, including blush, teal, plum and violet, while model SK 1503 features a handmade acetate front in chic colors, such as light purple, midnight blue, magenta and teal. Colorful glitter hearts highlight the metal temples and tips of models SK 1504 and SK 1505. The SKECHERS Cali logo completes the look of this fun temple design. Model SK 1504 features a metal front in a satin finish, while model SK 1505 features a handmade acetate front in a mix of vibrant colors, including pink on orange, berry on purple and purple on magenta crystal.

The new optical styles for boys are designed for today’s active lifestyle. Double injected rubber temple tips on models SK 1029 provide a sporty look with the added benefit of comfort and fit. Accent colors, such as yellow, orange and green highlight the overall design of these innovative temple treatments. A racing theme is reflected in model SK 1036, featuring a raised logo and racer stripe detail with a tread-like pattern laser-etched on the end pieces. New Optical Styles for Spring 2011 From RAMPAGE Eyewear

The Spring 2011 RAMPAGE® Eyewear collection from Viva International Group features eight new captivating styles inspired by the chic elegance of the brand. An array of innovative temple treatments, including milled techniques, high-definition prints and sculpted accents are offered in a variety of fashion-forward silhouettes.

Key design elements include a sculpted scallop design on the handmade acetate temples of styles R 145, featuring a modified cat-eye in handmade acetate and R 146, a flat metal modified cat-eye shape. Also featured are endpieces embellished with metal pyramid stud accents and milled temple detailing, as seen on styles R 147 and R 148. The modified oval shaped front in handmade acetate of style R 147, delivers a mesmerizing look to this tantalizing style. Style R 148 features a sleek flat metal front in a modified oval shape.

New Eyewear Styles for CANDIE’S Spring 2011 Collection

Viva International Group presents six new exciting CANDIE’S® Eyewear ophthalmic styles for Spring 2011. The new releases, consisting of four women and two youth styles, feature temple techniques ranging from high-definition prints to intricate metal accents, offered in a variety of vibrant colors and eye-catching patterns.

“We’re excited about this season’s new styles, which include an array of spirited and fresh looks,” says Roxanne Galari, Viva’s general manager for the CANDIE’S® brand. “The collection captures the fun and flirty style of the CANDIE’S® girl, supported by the brand’s exciting new campaign featuring Vanessa Hudgens.”

Key styles in the 2011 Spring collection include C Chelsea and C Charlie, which reflect the chic, yet playful side of today’s CANDIE’S® girl. The Spring campaign features High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, who follows in the heels of Britney Spears and Fergie, as the new face for CANDIE’S®.
